The Court is the supreme advisory body of the University.
As specified in Section 8A of the University Ordinance, the Court has the following functions:
- (a)
- to receive an annual report from the President;
- (b)
- to consider reports made to it by the Council;
- (c)
- to discuss any motion on general University policy;
- (d)
- to raise funds at the request of the University to further the University's objects;
- (e)
- to promote the interests of the University in Hong Kong and elsewhere.
