Studies of the Urban Environment in different district in Hong Kong have been defined as the main theme of the programme. Participating teachers shall first be assisted to comprehend critically the urban area from different perspectives at both physical and abstract levels. This shall be achieved through seminars on urban contexts. Through a series of workshops, they shall then acquire supervision skills to coach their own school teams in developing appropriate urban design solutions for a competition. The submissions may cover urban issues including but not limiting street furniture, pedestrian circulation and uses of open space.
