Miku and Melvin Bursary Founder Met with Award Recipients for a Fruitful Exchange (29 February)
On 29 February 2024, Alumni Relations Office (ARO) organized a stewardship event, bringing together Mr Melvin Leung, a dedicated donor and founder of the Miku and Melvin Bursary, and his wife Miku, who visited CityU with the purpose of connecting with the award recipients from various disciplines. They shared useful study strategies and imparted valuable life philosophies, including attitudes towards interpersonal relationships, with the students. The event was enriched by the presence of ARO’s director, Professor Ron Kwok, and Associate Director, Ms Pheony Tsang. It was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
During their visit, Melvin and Miku had the opportunity to sample the recently launched CityU ice cream. They were surprised by the delectable taste and exceptional quality of the ice cream. They also expressed their delight in witnessing the progress and advancements achieved by their alma mater.
