Giving life to the Green Spirit (23 February)
The 5th series of the CityUHK Convocation's organic farming program concluded its final session with a gathering on February 23, 2025. Since its inception in 2022, the program has equipped over 50 alumni participants with farming knowledge and fostered close friendships. During the lunch gathering, alumni shared their passion for farming and discussed the programme's development with mentors from the Convocation and the GROW project, a cross-disciplinary initiative introducing permaculture to CityUHK. Moving forward, in addition to donating part of the produce to the local community, the alumni will help train students in student residence farming, passing on their farming knowledge along with their caring spirit.
