Chinese New Year Dinner for COM alumni (1 March)
On 1 March, 2025, the Alumni Association of Media and Communication of City University of Hong Kong (COMAA) hosted its annual Chinese New Year dinner, bringing together more than 30 graduates from various industries in Hong Kong and over 10 current student representatives. Distinguished guests including Professor He Joe, Professor Liu Xiaofan, and Professor Dai Yue, were also invited to attend the event.
The event aimed to further enhance the platform for alumni networking and collaboration in Hong Kong. Representatives from the COMAA Committee expressed their gratitude to the Department of Media and Communication (COM) for its continued support of alumni activities and thanked them for providing an overview of the association's operations to the attendees.
Professor He Joe and Professor Liu Xiaofan shared insights into COM's latest development strategies and academic achievements. Additionally, several senior alumni from the media, finance, and other industries shared their career development experiences and professional insights post-graduation.
Looking ahead, COMAA plans to continue organising a variety of alumni-focused events to support the well-being and engagement of its members.
