For the continuation and development of the LHRC project, comments from external educators are seen as very necessary. Professor Peter Mathieson (馬斐森教授) was invited to view the documentary film, The Coastwise Lights of Penghu - The Fisher Island (Yuwengdao) Lighthouse, and shared his comments on this project. In Professor Peter Mathieson's interview, he mentioned that there is some really interesting cultural heritage similarity in this part of the world and Europe. There must be some very interesting human stories from the people involved. Not only are the stories of the lighthouse keepers and their families worth exploring, the roles and importance of the lighthouses are also very interesting educationally. He also expressed a strong belief that bits of the past should be preserved. Lighthouses are such iconic features around the world. He believes that they are probably one of the few things that are similar in every part of the world, even with different cultures, languages, and customs. Therefore, preserving lighthouse heritages and allowing generations of the future to know that this was a very important part of safety and shipping management in the past would be good education and a wonderful piece of work to be preserved.

For the continuation and development of the LHRC project, comments from external educators are seen as very necessary. Professor Kenneth Hsien-yung Pai (白先勇教授) stated in his interview, this documentary video symbolically inspired him to recall the content in a novel, To the lighthouse, by Virginia Wolf. He encourages young people to travel explore traditional and cultural heritage. Field study on the lighthouses brings a very rare opportunity to get to know our past for the students in a very real way. He believes that the past is as important as the future for the younger generation because people gain experience and knowledge from the past and therefore know how to face their future better. It brought a big impact to (gave some educational lessons to) generations of the future (in terms of the mechanics, history, and culture).
