The Centre for Neutron Scattering (CNS) is established with a vision to develop Hong Kong as a hub in the region for neutron scattering science, which has led to major advances in areas such as clean energy, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, materials engineering, etc. In close collaboration with the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) in Dongguan, CNS carries out a variety of cutting-edge research projects to study complex materials, opening up a new opportunities for materials research.
