COM welcome new PhD students!

The Department of Media and Communication (COM) organized an Orientation Day for the new PhD students on September 2, 2024.
Prof. Huang Yi-hui, Head of the Department, delivered a warm welcome speech, encouraging the new PhD students to be well-prepared for every opportunity to explore academic research. She recommended that all PhD students communicate closely with faculty members, as they can provide invaluable advice to help complete their research, contributing significantly to the field of Media and Communication worldwide. Following this, all COM faculty members introduced themselves to the students.
Prof. Marko Skoric, the research degree coordinator for the Doctor of Philosophy in Media and Communication (PhD), briefly introduced the course structure, requirements, and potential job opportunities in the research field.
