The Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong is delighted to announce a new AI Authoring course, which will be held in Semester B of the 2024/25 academic year!
New Course: COM 2510 Generative AI for Multimedia Authoring
Taught by Prof. Xinzhi Zhang, Associate Professor of COM, this course aims to equip students with the latest skills in generative AI tools while reviewing the functions and controversial issues surrounding how these tools produce multimedia content. Students will also have the opportunity to engage with ethical issues related to generative AI in news reporting.
