Delegation Visit by Nanyang Technological University & Guangdong University of Finance and Economics

Welcoming representatives from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (GDUFE)!
On 18 November 2024, the NTU delegation, led by Prof. Jack Qiu Linchuan, Chair of the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, and Dr Chen Lou, Associate Professor at the same school, visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at CityUHK.
Mr. Liu Zuhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Ma Chijie, Dean of School of Humanities and Communication, led the delegation comprising of 4 faculty members and 16 students from GDUFE.
During the visit, the delegation toured our state-of-the-art facilities, including the COM Omnimedia Digital Newsroom, 3D Virtual TV Studio, and Advertising Design and Shooting Studio. Some GDUFE students expressed their excitement about our facilities; they captured photos and even showcased their skills by presenting news and weather reports in front of the camera.
Following the tour, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions on future academic collaborations and research initiatives with Prof. Yi-Hui Christine HUANG, Head and Chair Professor, Prof. Chris Fei SHEN, Professor and Associate Head, Prof. Shuhua ZHOU, Chair Professor of Communication and Media, Associate Professors Li Crystal JIANG and Edmund LEE.
