Tenniel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and ESG. He holds professional qualifications including Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) and membership with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR), where he is also an Accredited PR Practitioner.
Tenniel’s diverse career in communications spans across a variety of industries such as tertiary education, start-up, retail, real estate, and environmental consultancy. Among all the crises and incidents he has managed, his most notable achievement is the successful handling of one of the largest labour strikes in Hong Kong for a food delivery platform. He also managed change communications for market exits, C-suite executive profiling, prominent conferences, and innovative PR campaigns.
Tenniel is currently a Senior Manager at the University of Hong Kong, where he played a crucial role in shaping media and communication strategies for the University’s sustainability research institute. In his previous role at HKU Business School, Tenniel skilfully managed communications projects and led the School’s key media and business events.
Driven by his passion for knowledge sharing, Tenniel has taken on part-time teaching roles at local institutions, delivering lectures and executive training focused on corporate communications and crisis management.
