M03: From Mathematics and Data Fusion to Network Science (從數學和數據融合到網絡科學)

Network science is an academic field that studies complex networks such as telecommunication networks, computer networks, biological networks, cognitive and semantic networks and social networks. In recent years, the increased interconnectivity of the mathematical sciences community has led to an increase in joint work from different fields. This talk will give a brief introduction on the recent development of mathematics in the development of network science. The speaker will identify various priority themes where multidisciplinary corporations will have greatest impact on technology, business and industry innovations.
