The College of Science is proud to announce that 10 scientists have been listed as Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers 2022.
CityU has made remarkable achievements in recent global rankings. There are some very good results and great leaps in science subjects in which the College of Science has played a very important part.
The College of Science congratulates Professor Alain Aspect on winning the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 with John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger, “for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science”.
Six students from the College of Science have been admitted to the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme for entry in the 2022/23 academic year.
We are proud to share that, Dr. Danfeng (Denver) Li, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, has been shortlisted for MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 (TR35) China, being one of the only two awardees in Hong Kong.
Professor Xun-Li Wang, Professor Hua Zhang and Dr. Qi Liu have received The President’s Awards 2021, for the remarkable achievements in their respective academic arena in support of the University’s enhancement and development.
