<p>而在地球的另一端，四年級(jí)學(xué)生<strong>何璟言</strong>在劍橋大學(xué)參與研究實(shí)習(xí)，探索材料在低溫、高壓和磁場(chǎng)等不同條件下的特性，夢(mèng)想成為一名物理學(xué)研究員。</p> <p>環(huán)球精研與科創(chuàng)課程以研究為主導(dǎo)，吸引有志投身科研的學(xué)生報(bào)讀。課程提供海外學(xué)術(shù)交流機(jī)會(huì)，助學(xué)生開(kāi)拓國(guó)際視野，刺激創(chuàng)新思維。在城大的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金資助下，曦琳和璟言已分別在全球兩所頂尖大學(xué)展開(kāi)他們的學(xué)術(shù)與研究之旅。</p> <p>曦琳熱愛(ài)數(shù)學(xué)和編程，是城大Google學(xué)生開(kāi)發(fā)者社群領(lǐng)袖，並在校內(nèi)的水底機(jī)械人團(tuán)隊(duì)擔(dān)任電腦工程師。在初創(chuàng)生態(tài)蓬勃的美國(guó)加州，她把握機(jī)會(huì)，不時(shí)參與程式設(shè)計(jì)馬拉松，以開(kāi)發(fā)創(chuàng)新解決方案為樂(lè)。她亦藉此機(jī)會(huì)，結(jié)交來(lái)自美國(guó)、墨西哥、杜拜、意大利及印度等地的朋友，相互交流，認(rèn)識(shí)各地文化。她說(shuō)：「加州大學(xué)柏克萊分校是美國(guó)最多元化的大學(xué)之一。那裡的教學(xué)質(zhì)素和學(xué)生都十分出色，我每天都會(huì)和大家討論並解決線性代數(shù)問(wèn)題?！?lt;/p> <p>修讀環(huán)球精研與科創(chuàng)課程的學(xué)生在第二年起，可按興趣選擇由化學(xué)系、數(shù)學(xué)系或物理學(xué)系提供的特定主修科組，並在著名學(xué)者指導(dǎo)下，從事自選的獨(dú)立研究。</p> <p>曦琳在城大入學(xué)第一年，已廣泛涉獵數(shù)學(xué)、統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)、編程、數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)、生物學(xué)及神經(jīng)科學(xué)等學(xué)科。她說(shuō)，多元化的一年級(jí)數(shù)理基礎(chǔ)課程有助她確立研究志向，因此在升讀二年級(jí)時(shí)選擇專攻數(shù)學(xué)，其導(dǎo)師為城大數(shù)學(xué)系<strong>羅永昌教授</strong>。她希望可以在新學(xué)年累積更多研究經(jīng)驗(yàn)，擴(kuò)闊自己的學(xué)術(shù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)，並成為數(shù)學(xué)或計(jì)算生物學(xué)的研究員，在醫(yī)療方面提供創(chuàng)新方案，尤其是解決香港十分常見(jiàn)的濕疹治療問(wèn)題。</p> <p>璟言已在劍橋大學(xué)完成半年的交流之旅。在英國(guó)，他沉浸在濃厚的歷史和文化中，亦積極參與劍橋大學(xué)的研究項(xiàng)目，裝備自己成為一名物理學(xué)研究員。他說(shuō)：「我對(duì)物理學(xué)的濃厚興趣，在城大得到極大發(fā)展，希望能夠以此為基礎(chǔ)，建構(gòu)未來(lái)。」</p> <p>城大在2024/25學(xué)年推出四個(gè)旗艦課程，包括：獸醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)士課程、工商管理學(xué)士（環(huán)球商業(yè)）課程、環(huán)球精研與科創(chuàng)課程，以及研究、創(chuàng)新和環(huán)球工程課程，設(shè)優(yōu)厚獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，旨在讓學(xué)生掌握相關(guān)學(xué)科的必要知識(shí)和技能，培養(yǎng)全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力，並讓他們與頂尖專業(yè)人士聯(lián)繫，穩(wěn)握發(fā)展機(jī)遇。</p>
