On 6 June 2025, the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (JCC) was delighted to host a distinguished delegation from the School of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), alongside collaborating researchers, in a visit aimed at fostering academic partnership and advancing joint research initiatives.

A dynamic research-sharing session with faculty members and postdoctoral fellows was organised as part of the visit, with discussions centered on cutting-edge developments in companion animal health and disease, genomics and metagenomics. The exchange showcased innovative research projects and identified promising opportunities for collaboration to drive progress in these fields.

This visit has laid the foundation for an exciting partnership, with both institutions committed to combining their expertise for transformative research that will advance animal and human health.
