Dr Friederike Zeeh recently joined the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health as Assistant Professor in Intensive Production Animal Health.

She joins us from the Clinic for Swine, Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Bern in Switzerland.

She will contribute to the teaching in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme and her research will focus on pig production diseases affecting pigs’ welfare and productivity, in particular swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.
