Abstract
Vanishing viscosity limit is one of the central topics in both the theory of fluid mechanics and the analysis of partial differential equations. In general it is expected to be true for Cauchy problem locally in time. However, as long as the time is global, the verification of such a theory is highly nontrivial and is thus open for most fluid systems. In this talk, we report our results on two dimensional incompressible viscoelasticity and magnetohydrodynamics.
