CityUHK's IDM and the Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology in Korea signed a MoU in Seoul on 18 March. It aims to establish collaboration on health-related research, particularly in cell and gene therapy, bioinformatics, and biomedical engineering, as well as talent development and commercialising digital health solutions to benefit society.

CityUHK is leading a groundbreaking project to develop an innovative platform for early cancer detection and personalised treatment. Focusing on the enhanced detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs), this initiative aims to improve cancer screening and monitoring.

A delegation from Suzhou visited CityUHK on 11 February to meet with CityUHK senior management. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on topics such as research results transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship, and talent cultivation, and explored opportunities for further cooperation.
