Professor Pierre Corvol, President and Chair of Experimental Medicine, Collège de France, delivered a lecture in the France-Hong Kong Distinguished Lecture Series, becoming the first president of the college to visit CityU.

Professor Jacques Livage of Collège de France, Paris, delivered a lecture in the France-Hong Kong Distinguished Lecture Series on “soft chemistry”, which allows the low temperature formation of glasses and ceramics.

Three research projects led by CityU have received funding from the RGC Collaborative Research Fund 2008-09 totalling HK$16.2 million. CityU was granted the highest amount of funding among the local universities this year.
