Prof. Edwin TSO Received Distinguished Young Scientist Award at the 4th China Metamaterials Conference (CMMC 2025)
The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is proud to share that Prof. Edwin TSO, our Associate Dean (Internationalisation and Outreach), has been awarded the Distinguished Young Scientist Award at the 4th China Metamaterials Conference (CMMC 2025), held from 15 to 18 May 2025 in Shenzhen, China.
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding early to mid-career researchers who have made significant and impactful contributions to the field of metamaterials. Prof. Tso was honored for his pioneering research in thermal management and radiative cooling technologies, which has advanced both fundamental understanding and practical applications in energy-efficient materials and systems.
At SEE, Prof. Tso leads cutting-edge research in areas including passive radiative cooling, nanostructured thermal materials, and sustainable energy solutions.
