School of Energy and Environment (SEE) is delighted to announce that Dr. Martin Zhu, one of our esteemed PhD alumni, has been selected as a member of the “Green Technology and Finance Development Committee.” This committee is chaired by the Financial Secretary, Mr. Paul CHAN, and aims to accelerate the development of green technology and finance in Hong Kong while leading the way towards achieving carbon neutrality through new goals and strategies.

Dr. Zhu feels privileged to serve on this committee and intends to utilize his expertise in sustainable green energy technology to develop effective strategies that can enhance Hong Kong's position in sustainable green technology and finance development, ultimately paving the way for net-zero carbon emissions.

Members of the Committee include representatives from relevant policy bureaux, departments, and financial regulators, as well as 13 non-official members from the relevant industries.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Zhu for his appointment to this significant committee.
