After months of intensive training and overcoming numerous difficulties, 31 CityU students and alumni successfully presented CHICAGO, a countless award-winning musical on Broadway. Student performers immersed themselves in the dramatic world of Chicago in the 1920s, which they barely experienced in real life. Their cavorting dancing, singing and acting performance under the splendid spotlights had drawn the attention of about 1,400 audience members.
As one of the highlights of the CityU Arts Festival, CHICAGO is the fourth CityU musical production. The previous productions were Fame (2016), Grease (2017) and Footloose (2018).
