Around 300 audience members burst out round and round of applause on 21 October 2019 at Wong Cheung Lo Hui Yuet Hall, for the mesmerizing performance by CityU Choir and vocal soloists who are current students and alumni. As a new performance theme in the CityU Arts Festival, labeling songs from renowned Broadway musicals were performed. Songs from musicals, such as The Phantom of The Opera, Les Miserables, the Sound of Music, Rent, Mamma Mia!, made the audience recall the fragments of musicals.
