Commenced on 4 Oct 2018, CityU Arts Festival 2018 began with its opening concert joined by 380 audiences at the Wong Cheung Lo Hui Yuet Hall. The concert opens with a welcoming speech delivered by Professor Horace IP, followed by the collaboration of CityU Philharmonic Orchestra with local harmonica soloist CY Leo and Taiwanese percussion soloist Ms. WU Shih-san respectively. Ms. WU performed for our audiences the world premiere of “Ran Yi Yu”, a mythical piece composed by Chi-Jou CHO.
