On 27 October 2023, the seventh show of CityU Arts Festival 2023/24, Young Once Live in Concert: Forever Golden Hits 2.0, was successfully held!

Following the success of last year's concert, the Young Once band was once again invited to perform at the CityU Arts Festival. The band and our four talented CityU performers (Danica, Year 1 of Creative Media; Peter, Year 4 of English; Kevin, alumnus of Media and Communication; Mika, alumna of Architectural Studies) took turns singing an array of classical English, Mandarin and Cantonese songs from the 1950s to the 1980s, including "Sway", "Stand by Me", "Dancing Queen", "First Love" and "At Least I've Got You" etc. One of the highlights was the performance of "Killing Me Softly with Song" by Mika and Danica. Their marvellous singing skills amazed the audience, winning rounds of applause.

Towards the end of the show, performers echoed the enthusiastic responses from the audience and performed the encore song "Hey Jude", concluding this mesmerising evening. Witnessing the connection between different generations of music lovers on the same stage was delightful.
