New Normal Makes it Special
Unlike the bustling Mid-Autumn carnivals in the previous years, the new normal filled this year’s Moon Festival in the Student Residence (SR) with special meanings alongside serenity.
A massive full moon was gleaming at the centre of the SR roundabout, surrounded by a long strand of glittering light bulbs. Along the grassland stood miniatures of adorable rabbit mascots in luminous neon lights. Many residents took photos to make this short-lived memory lasting.
Warm Festive Welcoming for New Residents
Taking into account the pandemic situation and the online learning arrangement, Student Residence Office (SRO) arranged admission of residents in two batches. For the second batch of new residents arriving on the Mid-Autumn Festival day, SRO set up its booth with a variety of festive fruit and mooncakes as welcoming packages.
