The Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations in the Student Residence were held on 12 and 13 September 2024, showcasing a vibrant array of talent across both the Kowloon Tong and Ma On Shan Compounds. This marked the first time the festivities were celebrated at the new student residence at Ma On Shan Compound, further expanding the reach of this cherished tradition.

The evenings came alive with exciting game booths, captivating performances by inter-hall singing contest winners, graceful Chinese dances, and energetic hip-hop performances by the CityUHK Dance Society. These activities build up the festive atmosphere, drawing over 1,500 attendees together for an unforgettable celebration.

The festival nights provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and for local and international students to learn more about traditional Chinese culture. It was truly a magical experience to remember, made even more special through the efforts of our vibrant residential communities.
