On 14 April 2023, the CityU Philharmonic Orchestra (CityU PO) Annual Performance was successfully held in Tsuen Wan Town Hall!

The concert attracted a large number of audience, including CityU’s students and staff, as well as member of the public! With the lead of conductor Mr. CHIU Kai Keung, 61 musicians, along with guest performers, soprano CHAN Sin Man Suzan and English hornist KWOK Wing Sum Iris, performed Swan of Tuonela, Death and Transfiguration, and a 45-minute long masterpiece, The Three-Cornered Hat. The captivating performance by the Orchestra gave the audience a glimpse of the end and the beginning of life, bringing them an unforgettable evening.

The performance marked the end of the Orchestra’s performance in 2022/23. Thank you again for the Orchestra members’ hard work and dedication and the audience’s support! Let’s look forward to CityU PO’s performance next year!
