Throughout the program, I also got to dive into clinical medicine and research. I learned about different research types — how research is born from medical questions, the ethics involved, and various medical procedures. One of the highlights was participating in clinical simulations of the emergency room, where I had the opportunity to lead a team. These simulations were challenging and exhilarating, providing a taste of what it might be like to work in a high-pressure medical environment. It was intense, but it also made me realize how much I thrive in situations where I need to think on my feet.

Looking back on everything, this program has been one of the most impactful experiences of my academic journey so far. It has strengthened my resolve to pursue a career in biomedical research. The challenges I faced, the friendships I made, and the insights I gained will continue to influence me as I advance in my studies and eventually into my professional life.
