The record-breaking graduate employment data was released by the University Grants Committee (UGC) in June 2022. The full-time employment rate of CityU graduates hit 96.6% in 2021, which was the highest among the eight publicly funded universities. It also represented a record high compared to CityU’s employment figures over the past decade. In addition, the average annual salary for CityU graduates increased by around 16% compared to last year’s figures, the highest increment among the eight universities for 2021.
CityU has successfully offered fresh graduates comprehensive employment support in the past three years and provided an enhanced matching fund for employers to offer work opportunities through CityU CAReer Launch Scheme (CARLS). Since 2019, more than 10,000 job vacancies have been solicited from the employer partners of CityU for our graduates as of December 2022.
