Teaching grants
The University has supported 54 Teaching Development Grant projects since the first call for proposals in 2005. After the several rounds of submissions, a balance of some $3m is still available. New proposals that will enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the coming semesters are now invited. The key criterion for the allocation of funds is that projects should produce demonstrable and direct teaching and learning benefits that are aligned with the Outcomes Based Teaching and Learning principles of the University. The TDG is giving priority to support new full-time teaching staff in enhancing the pedagogical design and curriculum development of their courses.
