A delegation led by Professor Xin Wang, Dean of College of Science (CSCI), visited five top universities in Kazakhstan in mid-April 2025. The debut visit to this Central Asia country was fruitful in building networks and laying the foundation for future collaborations.
CityUHK has performed remarkably well in the latest global rankings: named Hong Kong’s No.2 in both the inaugural “Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025 in association with Schmidt Science Fellows”, and the ShanghaiRanking’s “2024 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)”.

Eight outstanding scientists from the College of Science (CSCI), City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) have been awarded funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for 2024, comprising one-fourth of all CityUHK’s NSFC funding awardees.
