To expanding CityUHK’s global collaborations with leading universities, CityUHK and the University of
Cambridge solidified their commitment to mutual cooperation by signing several Memoranda of
Understanding (MoUs) in academic and research collaboration. These parties collaborating include 1)
CityUHK's College of Engineering and Cambridge's Department of Engineering, 2) CityUHK's College of
Science and the Cambridge's Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and 3) the
Department of Physics at CityUHK and the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy at the
University of Cambridge.
Additionally, CityUHK and the University of Cambridge’s Lucy Cavendish College plan to launch the Future
Global Leaders Programme, a joint initiative targeting Masters students at both institutions, so CityUHK
will be the first international partner of Lucy Cavendish College for this programme. CityUHK will also
establish a scholarship programme at Lucy Cavendish College to enable elite students from CityUHK who
have been accepted for a Master’s Degree across all disciplines to study at the College.
At the same time, CityUHK is honoured to welcome three distinguished faculty members from the
University of Cambridge as Distinguished Visiting Professors. They will collaborate with CityUHK faculty
and students to promote interdisciplinary scientific and academic research.
It is worth mentioning that CityUHK and the Fitzwilliam Museum are exploring future collaborations.
CityUHK eagerly anticipates leveraging our multidisciplinary strengths to ensure that our joint efforts will
not only enrich our students’ experiences but also generate positive societal impacts.
