Power analyzers are installed at various main and submain locations of the power distribution system. As the operational data are transmitted via the computer network, the power quality in terms of power factor, total harmonic distortion, maximum current and other important parameters can be easily monitored on real-time basis at the control center. In addition, energy consumption patterns and statistics can be easily compiled for comparison for various department and building services systems.
