There are numerous 3D generators available in the market, but users must enter 2D floor plan information manually. There is currently no all-in-one 3D modelling solution. We aim to develop an AI engine using Python that can seamlessly generate a floor plan sizing database, perform 3D modelling and create furniture designs.
Stage 1: Develop an automatic residential sizing calculator via Python to build a Hong Kong floor plan database.
Stage 2: Convert 2D floor plans into 3D models using machine-learning algorithms. Users can download or print the 3D models directly. Transformations can be automated through deep learning.
Stage 3: Users edit and adjust models to produce furniture and design decorations.
Stage 4: Provide a fast and efficient way to design and manufacture furniture in 3D format through PC and mobile apps, which providing a platform for learning and research.
