The aim of this project is to develop a set of intelligent services for the securities lending business, including intelligent real-time negotiation, active transaction process monitoring and risk management, and predictive analysis of market needs for securities lending.
Securities lending is a US$9.5B business globally, and stock lending in HK amounts to approximately $240M per year. However the borrowing and lending processes are highly manual, so they are very inefficient and costly. In order to design and develop these services, a set of state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technologies, such as the integration of deep-learning and knowledge graphs, intelligent autonomous agents, and intelligent fault monitoring and resolution, will be used to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of transactions and reduce the transaction cost for both lenders and borrowers.
