Nano-modified titanium implants
This project aims to propose an effective process for hydrophilic titanium implants with both micro and nanostructures using a second etching step after the conventional sandblast and acid etching (SLA) process. Compared with the most widely used ITI SLA? implants, the etching reagent in the second step is eco-friendly and can transform hydrophobic SLA surfaces into hydrophilic ones. The process is simple and can retain hydrophilic surfaces in the atmosphere for at least a month. The project is expected to be effective and useful.
