Project Apollo is an interactive 3D anatomy platform, which aims to enhance the quality of medical education. Project Apollo allows collaboration of medical knowledge between learners and professors and will be the first platform to provide users with real, high-resolution, 3D organ models.
As Hong Kong has one of the lowest organ donation rates in the world, the lack of cadavers has drastically decreased the learning efficiency of students studying medical-related subjects. Existing learning platforms provide users with nice, clean, animated diagrams, but lack the core focus of medical revision – “realness”. In view of this, Project Apollo emphasizes the use of realistic 3D scanned organ models to improve learning efficiency.
Our target users are tertiary institutions, and our short-term goal is to approach local universities for subscriptions. We expect to reach 12,000 users and revenue of US$912K by the end of the first year. We will then expand our market to overseas institutions.
Project Apollo makes information more accessible, affordable and useful.
