UpWatch is an AI-driven smartwatch-based application, which provides personalised, affordable and predictive healthcare. Our project aims to develop a one-stop-shop solution for personal healthcare. We provide numerous unique health data-analysis features, such as movement quality analysis, age-gender matched comparisons and disease progress tracking, to allow our customers to conveniently monitor their everyday health. Our health report-generation function will help healthcare professionals comprehensively decipher a patient's condition. Our application also offers medical referral services if our customers would like to seek medical attention.
Powered by advanced signal processing, big data and machine learning technologies, our product has the world's first wrist-sensor-based walking speed and quality algorithm. This state-of-the-art algorithm, developed by our co-founder, Lloyd Chan, extracts walking patterns and activity data from the wrist accelerometer on a smartwatch. It has high prediction accuracy, with external validation in 78,000 people, and the research results have been recognised in international journals.
UpWatch is a software-based end-to-end solution that allows users to easily manage their health risks through a single mobile application. By providing disease-screening services at a much lower cost than conventional methods, UpWatch will be a scalable, cost-effective way to monitor health and screening for both individuals and institutional clients.
