University of Macau delegation visits CityU

A delegation of senior personnel from the University of Macau praised the dynamic innovations and forward-looking management at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) during a visit on 22 May.
The delegation, which was led by Professor Zhao Wei, Rector and Chair Professor of the University of Macau, included Dr Peter Lam Kam-seng, Second Vice-Chair of the University Council, and Mr Wilfred Wong Chong-fat, Treasurer of the University Council, among others.
They were warmly welcomed by members of CityU’s senior management team, including Professor Way Kuo, President, Professor Arthur Ellis, Provost, Professor Horace Ip Ho-shing, Vice-President (Student Affairs), Professor Gary Feng Gang, Associate Provost (Academic Planning and Undergraduate Education), Mr Simon Tang Siu-kee, Director of Finance, and Dr Kevin Downing, Secretary to the Council.
After exchanging views on a number of important issues related to modern university governance and innovation development in higher education, the delegation visited the research facilities in the State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves and toured the 3D-TV Virtual Studio and the Digital Newsroom in the Department of Media and Communications.
