A delegation from Darwin College, University of Cambridge, was warmly welcomed by members of the senior management team at CityUHK on 11 March for discussions on potential collaborations and strengthening ties between the two institutions.

SKLMP at CityUHK was awarded the “2024 Dayu Water Conservancy Science and Technology Progress Award (2nd Class)” by the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, for the project "Key Technologies and Applications for Enhancing Urban Seawall’s Defence Capability and Ecological Function in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area".

The State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution at CityU was awarded the prestigious Gold Award at the Hong Kong Green Innovations Award.

Researchers from CityU received 36 awards at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. This is the third year running that CityU has received the highest number of awards among local institutions.

The first-ever cetacean-themed exhibition in Hong Kong, titled “CSI of the Cetaceans: Hope of Solutions”, co-organised by CityU and the Hong Kong Science Museum, is open to the public from 26 April to 29 May.
