On 3 January, the ARO at CityUHK officially established the CityUHK Singapore Alumni Chapter to further strengthen the alumni community, foster connections, and create opportunities for networking and collaboration among alumni living in Singapore.

Professor Gérard Berry, a distinguished member of the French Academy of Sciences and the French Academy of Technologies, and a Gold Medal awardee from the French National Centre for Scientific Research, delivered a pivotal lecture on 6 November at the recent France-Hong Kong Distinguished Lecture Series, hosted by CityUHK to discuss the crucial role of “time” in computer science, as well as the design, semantics and applications of synchronous programming languages.

The Annual Report for 2023/24 released today (24 December) by CityUHK, titled “Innovating into the Future”, reaffirms the University’s commitment to revitalising the higher education sector and improving society as a young and innovative university.

A CityUHK delegation visited the University of Exeter on 9 December to meet with the senior management team and discuss the implementation of research and education collaborations, along with a wide range of other potential collaborative opportunities.
