CityUHK recently welcomed back the much-loved ‘Professor Paw’, attracting over a thousand students who participated enthusiastically, bringing them smiles and stress relief.

CityUHK held the Community Yoga Fun Hour cum Open Day at the Lee Shau Kee Student Residence Village on 22 February. With a large-scale yoga experience and a series of exciting activities, the event aimed to foster interaction and connections between CityUHK and the community.

CityUHK is thrilled to announce the momentous achievement of its Women’s and Men’s table tennis teams, both of which emerged victorious at the USFHK Table Tennis Championship.

Over 750 runners from CityUHK participated in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2025 on 9 February. Among them were 12 Inclusion Run teams, formed by CityUHK runners partnering with students with special educational needs. Together, they demonstrated the spirit of social inclusion.

CityUHK held its first-ever STEM Career Fair 2025 on 17 January. 71 companies across 16 industries participated in the fair, offering over 3,300 job opportunities for students. It encouraged students to explore their career aspiration and learn about the latest industry trends, and provided an excellent platform for employers to engage with budding talent in the realm of computing, energy and environment, engineering, science and technology.

CityUHK held its 30th Anniversary Student Carnival on 17 January to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the inauguration of CityUHK as a university, and further strengthen the bonds between faculty and students, allowing them to enjoy a pleasant evening together. The evening was filled with exciting activities, including heartfelt performances by the President, faculty, students and alumni, as well as game booths and food kiosks.

CityUHK has always been dedicated to supporting the holistic development of students, and over 1,600 student athletes have been admitted to CityUHK.

A delegation from CityUHK, composed of faculty, students and alumni, will team up with students from Mary Rose School and TWGHs Chi-Li Pao School to tackle the 10-kilometre race in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon in February 2025.

Nineteen students from various departments of CityUHK participated in a Service Outreach Experience Programme organised by SDS from 30 May to 5 June. They travelled to Yunnan to engage in volunteer service and broaden their horizons through their service experience and cultural exchange.

The Bright Future Engineering Talent Hub of the College of Engineering at CityUHK hosted the "STEM Activities Award Presentation cum Talents Circle Reception 2024" on 28 September.
