Seniors rejuvenated by exploring university life at CityU

One hundred and fifty-two senior citizens had the chance to learn about filming, make-up and sound effects at a film production course at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 4 August.

The course, held at CityU campus from 31 July to 5 August, is part of the Mini-U Summer Elderly University Programme 2006. It was organized by CityU Professional Services Ltd, Po Leung Kuk, WiseNet Ltd and Shiseido with an aim to encourage seniors to acquire new knowledge and live a fulfilling life regardless of age.

In addition, course participants had a taste of campus life, the overall learning ambience and state-of-the-art facilities at CityU when they attended sessions on image building, East-West cultural studies, social etiquette, skin care, cosmetics and Taekwondo.
