We broke into the top ten of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) rankings for universities in Asia this year, and ranked 57th in the world.”

Mr Chan addressed the assembly on behalf of the Honorary Fellows. “CityU’s achievements over the last 30 years are clearly reflected in our rapid rise in international university rankings. Such success has put greater responsibility on us to educate our students to become responsible members of society. With the leadership of the Council, and the hard work of the faculty, staff, alumni and students, we are confident that CityU will continue to prosper,” he said.
