I am now developing my expertise in Railway as a Railway Systems Engineer in ARUP, a worldwide renowned engineering consultancy firm. I am keen to learn station planning and digital transformation skills from my current infrastructure projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Philippines. In ARUP, I am excited to interact with architects, planners, scientists, consultants and engineers from a diverse background each with their own technical excellence, which allows young people like me to appreciate the value of "Total Design" from a top-down holistic view.
In 2019, I was glad to be elected as the Woman Ambassador by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong to promote gender diversity in STEM industries. After several years of work, my next plan is to pursue an overseas Master’s Degree in Railway to strengthen my knowledge.
It is my wish to become a professional Chartered Engineer in rail engineering one day and also a more rounded engineer to contribute to a sustainable world. My motto is always encouraging – "You only live once, live no regret, strive for the best".
