CAREER JOCKEY CLUB THRIVING GRASS CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2022
Introduction
CareER Jockey Club Thriving Grass Career Development Program (the Program) is a pioneering career development program in Hong Kong, designed to provide self-development opportunities to improve employability and raise workplace confidence.
During the program, participants will be given training opportunities to build self-confidence, improve personal competence, as well as develop leadership and communication skills. The program aims to prepare participants for leadership roles in the workplace across industries – from NGOs to social enterprises, from public sectors to private sectors – and in the community.
Eligibility
You may join this Program if you are:
- university students and graduates with disabilities and SEN who are committed to striving for self-improvement and career development;
- inclusive employers who are committed to promoting workplace inclusion for people with disabilities and SEN and looking for talent;
- HR and talent acquisition professionals who are looking for volunteering opportunities to empower people with disabilities and SEN
Details
This three-year program is designed to:
- inspire participants to carve their own career path through their engagement in various self-development activities;
- boost participants’ confidence in their workplace, in life and beyond by equipping them with leadership and social skills;
- establish rapport and community spirit among higher educated persons with disabilities and SENs;
- encourage participants to take the initiative and become active members of society;
- build disability confidence and raise awareness around inclusive employment in civil society
