Campus visits for Ho Lap College and Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School spark interest in CityUHK programmes

A total of 90 students from Ho Lap College (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) and Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School visited City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) in March 2025.
Students from Ho Lap College attended an admission talk, followed by two introduction talks to the College of Science and College of Engineering by Professor Jon Lo, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Professor Lam Heung Fai, Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, respectively. After the talks, the students explored the "Story of the Ocean Giants: Cetaceans & Sea Turtles" exhibition, learning about marine life.
Following an admission talk, students from Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School toured the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre, exploring the innovative creative media and communications facilities at CityUHK. Students then attended a talk by Professor Clint Ho Chin Pang, Assistant Professor of the Department of Data Science, who introduced the programme of data science, sparking interest in data-driven study and careers.
Both visits concluded with a stop at the CityUHK milk counter.
