城大32位傑出學(xué)者榮獲2024年國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金資助。
城大孫洪義博士結(jié)合中華智慧與西方創(chuàng)業(yè)的科學(xué)方法，開發(fā)出可激發(fā)創(chuàng)意和創(chuàng)新的獨(dú)特思維教學(xué)模式。
先進(jìn)設(shè)計(jì)及系統(tǒng)工程學(xué)系兼數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)學(xué)院講座教授謝旻教授膺選為歐洲科學(xué)與人文學(xué)院院士，所屬學(xué)科組別為技術(shù)與環(huán)境科學(xué)。
城大將於2007-08學(xué)年下學(xué)期開設(shè)「科學(xué)與科技：過去與未來(lái)」通識(shí)科目，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生欣賞科學(xué)探索的能力及分析理?yè)?jù)的技巧。
城大於5月29日至30日在校內(nèi)舉行為期兩天的展覽，展出科學(xué)及工程學(xué)院學(xué)生共78份專題習(xí)作。

十三位城大製造工程及工程管理學(xué)系學(xué)生參與義務(wù)工作，為本港一些長(zhǎng)者住戶安裝可防止鋁窗鬆脫墜樓的安全鏈。首個(gè)安裝工程於11月18日進(jìn)行。
In a workshop organized by the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management, 20 to 22 July 2004, 38 secondary school participants learned the basics of mechatronic engineering and constructed miniature vehicles. Some outstanding works won the participating teams honors and prizes during a competition held on the last day of the workshop.
Twenty-three Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) students have formed two teams to enter the Robocon Hong Kong Contest -- Lovers' Reunion on 20 June. The winning team in the Hong Kong contest will represent Hong Kong at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2004 (ABU Robocon) in Seoul, Korea, in September.
Mr Chiu Leung, a student from the Department of Electronic Engineering (EE), has won the championship of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., (IEEE) Hong Kong Undergraduate Student Paper Contest 2003.
