2022 International Cetacean Symposium

The reduction in human activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially global maritime traffic, has benefited the ocean and enabled its resilient residents to thrive again. The Aquatic Animal Virtopsy Lab under the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health will explore these areas at its annual International Cetacean Symposium on 17 June with the theme of Resilience” featuring online plenary lectures and invited talks by renowned conservationists, scientists, veterinarians, governmental agencies, academics and students. More details are here.
